1. What is “XchangeWorld”?

XchangeWorld is an international holiday exchange network featuring direct partnerships with meticulously selected quality clubs & resorts – exclusively for QVI Club members and holiday package holders.

2. How can I become a member of “XchangeWorld”?

You will automatically become a member of “XchangeWorld” upon completion of the registration of your QVI Club Membership (Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze).

3. What are the benefits of “XchangeWorld”? What does “XchangeWorld” offer?

– “XchangeWorld” provides a selection of guaranteed check-in weeks/units at your preferred locations/destinations for you to choose from on a frequent basis.

– “XchangeWorld” offers check-in date choices across all seasonality. There will be equal weeks/units on offer that spread out from peak to low seasons and not just during low seasons.

4. Will there be a renewal fee imposed to renew the membership with “XchangeWorld”?

There will not be any renewal fee charged.

5. Will there be an Xchange fee? How much is the Xchange fee?

Yes, there will be a nominal Xchange fee. The Xchange fee is a flat rate of USD118 / Euro103 per week of 8days/7nights throughout the world, which translates to great value for money! This is payable upon confirmation of your Xchange request.

6. How can I find the list of XchangeWorld associated resorts/ hotels?

7. Do I still need to pay Usage Fees?

Yes, there will be a reasonable Usage Fee of USD200 / Euro174 for depositing your QVI Club week entitlement into “XchangeWorld” for your exchange purpose.

8. Will meals be provided?

Meals are not included.

9. How can I deposit my week into “XchangeWorld”?

Upon settlement of your Usage Fee, you will be able to deposit your week into “XchangeWorld”.

How much is the Guest Certificate fee?
The Guest Certificate fee is available at USD50 / Euro43. This is applicable only if you are not part of the travelling party staying at the destination resort/hotel.

For full week booking – the Guest Certificate fee is per unit/per week.
For split week booking – the Guest Certificate fee is per unit/per period of stay.

11. Can I pay my Usage fee, Guest Certificate or Xchange fee through my E-Card?

Yes, you can make the payment either by:

a. E-Card by providing us with your E-Card details (Serial and Pin Code)
b. By a secured credit card on-line payment gateway (For Visa and MasterCard Only)

12. What are “XchangeWorld” office hours?

Monday-Friday 12pm-6am; Saturday 12am-6am HKST

13. How do I make full use of “XchangeWorld” holidays?

– Be flexible with your requests.
– Instead of choosing a specific resort, tell us what kind of holidays or areas (at least 3 choices) you want (beach, mountain, cultural etc). Keep an open mind and you will be pleasantly surprised by wonderful experiences in a previously unexplored destination. Why keep going back to the same popular overcrowded places? There is a whole wide world to explore.

14. What is the Cancellation Protection Option (CPO) @ USD19 / Euro17?

By purchasing the CPO at the time of confirming your exchange, your deposited week will be saved up to the expiry date of usage week entitlement, should you need to cancel your exchange holiday. There will be no fee for the replacement exchange. You have the option of accepting the CPO and paying the additional CPO fee on the replacement exchange reservation.

– CPO must be purchased upon exchange confirmation only
– CPO is not available on Bonus Weeks or any other “special” or “promotional offers”
– CPO is not applicable on Guest Certificates

If you decline the CPO at the time of confirming your exchange, the cancellation policy applies.

15. What is your Cancellation Policy?

More than sixty (60) days prior to check-in date:
• No penalty
• The pre-paid Xchange Fee will be retained and the week will be saved for future use up to expiry date of the week entitlement usage

Less than sixty (60) days prior to check-in date:
• The pre-paid Xchange Fee is forfeited
• The week will be saved for future use up to expiry date of the week entitlement usage

Less than thirty (30) days prior to check-in date:
• The pre-paid Xchange Fee is forfeited
• The week entitlement is forfeited

Cancellation Protection Option (CPO) @ USD19 / Euro17 – by purchasing CPO at the time of confirming your exchange, should you need to cancel your exchange holiday 29 days or less till the date of check-in, your deposited week will be saved up to the expiry date of usage week entitlement. You have the option of accepting CPO and paying the additional CPO fee on the replacement exchange reservation. No monetary refunds are allowed on cancellations. The CPO is valid for one time cancellation only.

– CPO must be purchased upon exchange confirmation only

– CPO is not applicable on Guest Certificates
If you decline CPO at the time of confirming your exchange, the cancellation policy applies.

Terms and Conditions

Guest Certificate will be forfeited once cancelled.

Balance from deducted Xchange Fee will be credited on the next Xchange request.
You may then request another exchange for which payment of an additional Xchange Fee may be required.

CPO is valid for one-time cancellation only.
