As unique as its name, Koh Samui offered us great adventures and exciting moments throughout our one week stay on the island. We checked into a beautiful resort where we were greeted with warm and friendly service. The shuttle service made it easier to travel to the nearest town called Chaweng, which turned out to be the best place for sightseeing and to shop for bargains.
We took the Island Safari City Tour, where we caught the monkey and elephant show, went on an elephant trekking ride, visited the Khunaram temple (which is famous for its mummy monk) and the Big Buddha temple.
We made sure we didn’t miss the Sea Safari Tour which set off from Nathon pier to the Ang Thong National Marine Park. On Mae Ko Island, we climbed to an amazing viewpoint overlooking the Green Lagoon and some breathtaking scenery of the island. After a delicious buffet lunch, we explored the ancient limestone cave at Tai Phow Island and went snorkeling.
On our final day, we had the wonderful opportunity to meet the General Manager of Prana Resort & Spa (QVI), Mr. Simon Illingworth, who shared details with us on the development of the resort. We truly believe it is going to be one of the most prestigious and spectacular places in Koh Samui.
As for us, Koh Samui was indeed a perfect location for our honeymoon! A million thanks to QVI Club for providing us with such a lovely holiday experience!
